Claire has been in private practice since 1982, after serving as vice president and general manager of a major lumber company. She has been recognized for professional and civic contributions; including being awarded Member of the Year of the Texas Association of Financial and Tax Specialists, serving on the IRS Liaison Committee for the Dallas District, recognized as one of the outstanding women executives in the state of Texas, and Rotarian of the Year. She has been a speaker and seminar leader throughout the state, and has served on the board of directors of many civic and professional organizations. She is a Certified Public Accountant, is enrolled to represent taxpayers before the IRS, and has her Real Estate License.
